Robert Murphy and Jean Randich will launch a new theater company, Collider Theater, with the world premiere of Murphy's new drama Love, Sex and Death in the Amazon. The production will run October 10-31 at the Paradise Factory at 64E4.

Led by coartistic directors Murphy and Randich, Collider Theater is "dedicated to telling stories that celebrate the collision of cultures around the world. Collider Theater aims to explore the bridges that connect us while also investigating our points of difference, disconnect, and incomprehension."

Love, Sex and Death in the Amazon is directed by Randich. Inspired by true events, it tells the story of Walter and his mother-in-law, Ines, who travel to the Amazon to perform religious rituals to put the spirit of Ines' son, Walter's partner, to rest.

Casting and additional information about the production will be announced in the coming months.
