Cast Announced for Jim Neu's Gang of Seven at La MaMa

Casting has been announced for Jim Neu's new comedy Gang of Seven, to play La MaMa E.T.C., December 4-21. Keith McDermott will direct.

The play satirizes the dynamics of market research focus groups. The cast will include John Costelloe, Kristine Lee, Chris Maresca, Tony Nunziata, Mary Shultz, Byron Thomas, in addition to Neu. The production will feature music by Harry Mann, with sets by David Fritz and costumes by Meg Zeder.

Neu's previous productions include Him or Me, Duet for Spies, Live Witness, The Floatones, Target Audience: The Code of the Western, and La Vie Noir. He also collaborated with and contributed to several scripts by Robert Wilson. Neu will also be the featured subject of La MaMa's "Coffeehouse Chronicles" free series on November 22 at 3 pm.
