Threads Theater Company and International Arts Movement has announced casting for Rose Courtney's adaptation of Isak Dinesen's short story Babette's Feast, to run June 16-26 at Space 38/39. Quin Gordon will direct the piece, which has been conceived and developed by Abbie Killeen.

The play unfolds in a small, conservative 19th-century European town whose community members are forever changed by the arrival of an outspoken French refugee named Babette. The company will feature Killeen in the title role as well as playwright Courtney, along with Kamel Boutros, William Connell, Matteo Eckerle, Darrie Lawrence, Hal Robinson, James Russell, and Rachel Wallace.
