Warren Kelley will play the role of George Bernard Shaw in the New York premiere of John Morogiello's Engaging Shaw, to be performed Off-Broadway at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, April 9-May 2, with an opening on April 18. Jackob G. Hofmann will direct.

The play follows the real-life courtship and battle of wits between Shaw and socialite Charlotte Payne-Townshend. The cast will also include Marc Geller, Jamee Vance, and Claire Warden.

The production will feature set design by Ken Larson, costume design by Deborah Caney, lighting design by Matthew McCarthy, and music design by Larry Spivack.
