Amy Acker, Larry Pine Set for Boomerang's Reading of The Monster Tales

Presented as part of The Legacy Reading Series, the play tells the story of a lonely young woman who discovers her singular humanity when a monster appears from under her bed.
Acker is best known for her television roles on Dollhouse, Angel, and Alias. Among Pine's many Broadway credits are Bus Stop, Angels in America, and Joe Egg; he has also starred Off-Broadway in more than two dozen plays, including Stuff Happens, The Seagull, and Vanya on 42nd Street.
