Examining the ideas of loss and the structure of remembering, Amanda Waal's NYC-based company of one presents the world premiere solo The Rules of Remembering. A multi-media collage, the work is composed of improvisation informed choreography, text derived from Willa Cather and Annie Proulx, video that blends new and found footage and music that covers a variety of genres, including new work from Tucker Dulin. The piece is performed within a constructed environment of intricate paper sculptures created by Waal.
