The Women Generals is based on the ancient Chinese history story. During the Northern Song Dynasty, China was invaded by the regime of Western Xia. At the age of 100, widow Shetai Jun, led the troops with her granddaughter-in-law, Mu Gui Ying, and the women warriors of the Yang family to fight the invaders, and won the battle. With song, dancing, music, costume and martial arts combined in one show, the play presents the real Chinese history and culture to the American audience. Presented by Qi Shu-Fang Peking Opera.
