WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Atlantic co-founder David Mamet's (Romance, Glengarry Glen Ross) new adaptation of Harley Granville-Barker's classic play The Voysey Inheritance explores the timely issue of morals vs. money as an upper middle class family goes to pieces when it is revealed that the patriarch has amassed the family fortune by secretly embezzling money from his clients. As his son tries to put things in order, he discovers that the family is more than willing to perpetuate this way of doing business, rather than sacrifice their comfort and luxury.
Added Performances: Wednesday, January 24; Wednesday, January 31; and Wednesday, February 7 @ 2pm

The first mention, however, must go to the superlative Michael Stuhlbarg, who has been quietly chalking up outstanding performances both on Broadway (The Pillowman, which earned him a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award) and Off-Broadway (Measure for Pleasure, Cymbeline) over the past few years.
