WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Two years after riveting New York theatergoers with his Off-Broadway hit bash, Neil LaBute returns with this enticing new drama, The Shape of Things. The story begins when a reserved college student starts dating a beautiful, sexually aggressive artist. But it soon veers off into the kind of dangerous, seductive territory that LaBute does best. Fresh from a sold-out run in London, where it generated huge buzz and became the sensation of the season, this acclaimed Almeida Theatre production comes to New York with its starry original cast intact: Gretchen Mol, Paul Rudd, Rachel Weisz, and Frederick Weller.
