WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Signature Theatre Company presents the world premiere of The Regard Evening, the second production of the company's 13th season (2003-04), dedicated to the plays of Bill Irwin. Directed by Mr. Irwin, and created in collaboration with Doug Skinner, Michael O'Connor, and Nancy Harrington, the show is both a revival of the acclaimed The Regard of Flight, plus a sequel that flashes forward twenty years to today to reunite the original performers. Bill Irwin plays an Everyman, an actor armed only with a trunk full of quick changes, whose worst nightmare comes to life as he awakens to find himself onstage. This update celebrates the craft of theatre, while poking fun at theatrical conventions.

To create this sort of multi-level entertainment is no easy achieveme[...]
