Abingdon Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Jan Buttram's The President and Her Mistress. Rob Urbinati directs.
In the not too distant future, President Beck Shine has her hands full running the world. She wants to institute equal rights for all humanity but a world-famous talk show host is calling for her impeachment. Not only that, a breakthrough medical technology has taken hold of Madame President inducing off-the-wall side effects. Join us for a far-out comedy from the heart by Jan Buttram, author of Texas Homos and The Parker Family Circus.
