Written and directed by eminent Iranian director and award-winning actor Attila Pessyani, The Mute Dream is a thought-provoking social commentary on the playwright's country. The story explores the insidious and ambiguous nature of a teacher-pupil/mother-daughter relationship, excavating the emotional intricacies of obedience, rebellion, individuality, and the true meaning of education.
