WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Sigourney Weaver and Liev Schreiber star in the world premiere of The Mercy Seat, written and directed by Neil LaBute. In this MCC season opener, Weaver plays Abby Prescott, a 40-something woman having an affair with a younger man. Set in New York City the day after the WTC attacks, the 2-person drama explores the relationship between these lovers, and the choices they now face in an uncertain existence. PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE : 12/30-1/4: Monday at 8pm; Wednesday at 8pm; Thursday at 8pm; Friday at 8pm; Saturday at 2:30pm & 8pm. 1/5-1/11: Sunday at 2:30pm & 7:30pm; Wednesday at 2:30pm & 8pm; Thursday at 8pm; Friday at 8pm; Saturday at 2:30pm & 8pm. 1/12-1/15: Sunday at 2:30pm and 7:30pm; Tuesday, January 14 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, January 15 at 2:30pm and 8pm
