Sigourney Weaver and Liev Schreiber star in the world premiere of The Mercy Seat, written and directed by Neil LaBute. In this MCC season opener, Weaver plays Abby Prescott, a 40-something woman having an affair with a younger man. Set in New York City the day after the WTC attacks, the 2-person drama explores the relationship between these lovers, and the choices they now face in an uncertain existence.
