James Houghton directs the world premiere of Horton Foote's The Last of the Thorntons, set in the small town of Harrison, Texas. Alberta Thornton, the last surviving member of a powerful clan, confronts the end of her life. She shares an entertaining and touching lifetime of memories, including both pride and misgvings about her family's legacy, as she struggles to let go of unrealized dreams and a lost way of life. The production stars Academy Award-winner Estelle Parsons, along with Hallie Foote and Mason Adams.
