WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Playwright Amos Kamil asks an intriguing question in his drama, The Flame Keeper. After WWII, what was life like for the returning Jews and the Germans who had to confront them? Turnabout can be fair play. A Jewish doctor comes each morning to a store, solely for the purpose of harrassing its German owner. In doing so, he takes revenge on a single man for the sins of an entire nation. This powerful production puts a human face on some disturbing and thought-provoking ideas about conflict and confrontation. Running Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes
