WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Only two years old, but rapidly gaining a reputation for its wit and energetic originality, the Chase Brock Experience will present the world premiere of "American Sadness" as part of the company's Abrons Arts Center season. The dance, for eight performers, is set to music from Gabriel Kahane's debut CD "Gabriel Kahane," just released this past April. Also on the boards are "Curious Episode," set to music by Claude Bolling; "Junk and Lies," to music by David Yazbek; and "Slow Float" set to music by Laura Nyro.
