The Booth Variations is conceived and created by Todd Cerveris, Nick Philippou and Caridad Svich. Based on the life of American actor Edwin Booth, brother to presidential assassin John Wilkes, The Booth Variations is a surreal meld of theatrical narrative and surreal media frenzy, a Faustian tale of the 19th century celebrity culture, as told through a 21st century tabloid voice.
