WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Julia Cho's new play, The Architecture of Loss, a lyrical meditation on abandonment, recounts the events that led Greg, a husband and father, to desert his family and then return 14 years later. Upon his expected return, Greg and his wife try to comprehend the disappearance of their son as events are colored through the conflicting memories of wife and daughter. Despite great loss, there is the possibility of a future as the family perseveres, illuminating Cho's selection of the epigram, "Hope is essential for your survival."
