WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Political pundit and satirist Will Durst stars in the solo show The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing, directed by Eric Krebs.

The San Francisco-based commentator has made more than 400 television appearances in his more-than-30-year career, including Crossfire, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has been nominated for five Emmy Awards. Most recently, he co-hosted a morning radio show on KQKE with former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown.

WHAT ARE CRITICS SAYING?

Taking on the Democratic party in the Bluest city in America can be risky business. So the political satirist Will Durst is discovering during the occasional silences that greet some of his barbs in The All-American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing, his often hilarious if ultimately overlong (at 85 minutes) take on the current, sad state of politics.
On the other hand, he was thrilled that we did get the joke about President Bush saying the French don't have a word for entrepreneur.

As his show's title suggests, Durst is an equal opportunity offender, but that doesn't mean he's giving equal time to lampooning the right and the left. And it's not just that George W. Bush and his cronies provide [...]
