This summer, Tom Waites will present Taming of the Shrew, a happy comedy of "courtship" and "romance," and one of Shakespeare's most admired plays.

Tom Waites recently was noted national critical acclaim for his short film Pandora's Box, winning Best Director and Best Screenplay for the Short Film Contest at Atlantic City Film Festival. The internationally acclaimed actress Francis Fisher (The Titanic, The Lincoln Lawyer, House of Sand and Fog) won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film, and Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) was nominated for Best Actor.

Baruch Performing Arts Center is proud to present this work and many past and future works by Tom Waites, a Juilliard-trained theater professional. Don't miss it!
