WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Symphony Space presents the world premiere of Surface to Air, a new play by David Epstein, directed by Tony Award-winner James Naughton. Surface to Air is the story of a family forced to confront long-repressed emotions when the remains of their son, a Vietnam veteran, are identified 30 years after his plane was shot down in Vietnam. The unresolved passions and long-lasting effects of the Vietnam War seem especially timely in light of the issues of today.
