Killing yourself isn't usually a laughing matter, but in three of John Patrick's lesser-known one-acts, attempting to end one's life does have some bright sides - especially when the attempter learns some lessons about living in the process. Presented by Livin' Large Productions, LLC under Patrick's banner of Suicide-Anyone?, the three works are directed by Jeffrey Davolt. The three Patrick one-acts are "Loyalty," about a bickering married couple and their neighbor who just wants to get some sleep; "Empathy," about a young, unemployed actress who can't find time alone to end it all; and "Confession," about two feuding male lovers and their "worldly" female neighbor with a novel idea and a bottle of pills.
