WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Written and performed by: Sarah Hayward
Direct from Vancouver, Canada
. . . with her flame glowing brightly!

People-pleasing Pollyhymnia will do anything to get into the circus. She brazenly reinvents eight iconic circus acts including: The Two-Headed Lady, The High-Wired Act and The Bittersweet Bearded Lady. Secret theories, mysteries and Leonard Cohen are just a few of Pollyhymnia's passions as she finds her way through song, memories and sheer determination.

"The show's defining moment, which hangs like a suspended breath, is her juggler . . . It's transcendent and illuminating."
Eva marie Clarke, See Magazine, Edmonton, Canada

"The theme of the show revolves around stripes and cracks -- in clothing, in voice, in personality, in life and career . . . It is a wonderful example of what Fringe theatre, in its boundlessness, can be."  Todd Babiak, Edmonton Journal, Canada.

In writers Emma Barash, Bryce Norbitz, Steve Wargo, and Marshall Pailet's clever reimagining, the dinos (who, you may remember, are all engineered to be female to prevent "unauthorized" reproduction) live in a peaceful, faith-based community that worships the lab workers who created them. However,[...]
