WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Some people need continuous change in order to feel vital and alive. Others are terrified of unsettling the peace that they have established. That's the basis of the new play Southern Comforts, by Kathleen Clark, which was a finalist for the prestigious Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for Playwriting. Penny Fuller and Larry Keith star in this tour-de-force journey of a widow and widower who meet later in life and find a way into each other's hearts. The play is a beautiful exploration of the intimate workings of all relationships. Judith Ivey directs.

Additionally, there are Sunday matinees scheduled for October 1, 8, 15 & 22 at 3PM, and a Wednesday matinee on October 25 at 2PM.
