WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In Sleepwalk With Me, Mike Birbiglia takes the audience on a hysterically funny and intensely personal journey through stories of his life and bouts with sleepwalking. As he finally confronts his fears of love, honesty and growing up, we see that some people's problems will work themselves out with a nice long walk-- but not Mike's.

RE:A Hoot and A Hit
Had a great time at this show. Im not an easy laugh and I was laughing til I cried at this one. Birbiglia molds some genuinely funny and severely intimate stories into a satisfying message. Plus, there are bumper stickers in the playbill!

It's not often a comedy routine comes with a moral lesson attached. But that's luckily what you get by way of Mike Birbiglia's solo show Sleepwalk With Me now at Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street. It's an 80-minute grinathon that is delivered with the sunniest good humor, under Seth Barrish's unprepossessing direction.
Birbiglia -- who enters and exits through a gaping space deliberately designed by Beowulf Borrit as a metaphor for a crucial turning-point in his past -- is never explicit about the lesson he's teaching and which he earned the hard way.
