WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Susan Marshall's Sleeping Beauty is a metaphorically rich twist on the beloved fairytale, reflecting the choreographer's pitch-perfect poetic impulses. Her modern-day heroine is no passive Beauty, but a figure iwth unique volition whose dream world defies her would-be rescuers and reveals a consciousness of another order.
