WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Public Theater presents the New York premiere of I See What I Wanna See, a new musical by Michael John LaChiusa (Broadway's The Wild Party). The ensemble cast includes Idina Menzel, Marc Kudisch, Mary Testa, and Henry Stram. Ted Sperling directs, with musical staging by Jonathan Butterell.
A park. A thief. A priest. A psychic. A miracle. A lie. The truth. From a mysterious murder in Central Park to a tragic Tuesday in September, New York stories of faith, loss and redemption are explored in See What I Want to See, a new musical with a contemporary, lush score.
