WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Daniel MacIvor's See Bob Run tells the story of Roberta (Bob for short) as she takes to the road in search of her father. Bob is running from her mother, her slutty best girlfriend, and a rock-n-roller-wannabe boyfriend. As Roberta hitches eastward, she tells darkly disturbing fairy tales to any driver who will listen. These off-beat stories are peppered with bits of her own devastating biography. Susan O'Connor stars in this solo play, directed by Timothy P. Jones.

Where she is running to, we don't know; what she is running from, we eventually find out.
Bob begins by telling us a metaphorical fairy tale that paints her father as a saint and her mother as an evil witch while graphically illustrating that Bob's low self-esteem stems from her very conception. It's a rather clever [...]
