WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Second Stage Theatre presents the New York premiere of composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim's first musical, SATURDAY NIGHT. Written in 1954, the New York production was closed down prior to it's opening, due to the death of it's producer, Lemuel Ayers. The story follows an ambitious young man from Brooklyn's Flatbush Avenue who dreams of wealth and glamour across the bridge in the Manhattan of 1929. This is a rare theatrical event, which is a must-see for any fan of the Broadway musical legend.

Special Discounts: $30.50 tickets for Wed. & Sat. Matinees only.
