2013 – The Year of Italian Culture in the United States, would not be complete without a memorable performance by one of Italy's most beloved artists, Roberto Bolle. Principal dancer with la Scala Ballet Company at the age of 20, Etoile for Teatro alla Scala of Milano since 2004, and the first Italian to be made principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre in 2007, Roberto Bolle is among the most acclaimed and sought-after Italian stars in the world. After countless tours and performances with American Ballet Theatre, the danseur is back in New York City, representing Italy, to present his own show ROBERTO BOLLE AND FRIENDS GALA. This unforgettable evening will see some of the most exquisite dancers from the most famous ballet companies sharing the spotlight with Bolle to perform a selection of solos and pas de deux from treasured classic and modern ballets of the 1900s.
