Richard is a beast of unparalleled irresistability, who stages his ascension with theatrical flare, daring the surrrounding characters to stop him. He was built for adversity, and cannot, will not be content with a life of tranquil peace and love. Dan Daily plays the title role. Shepard Sobel directs.
