WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Seth Rudetsky plays piano at top Broadway shows (42nd Street, The Producers, Phantom of the Opera) and also works as a comedy writer, stand-up comic, musical director, producer of benefits for the Actors Fund, and host of the weekly Broadway interview show Seth's Broadway Chatterbox. In his one-man multi-media comedy Rhapsody in Seth, he delves into an obsession with high-belting Broadway divas, Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," and growing up in Long Island's North Woodmere. The show traces Rudetsky's childhood on Long Island - where being musically talented was praised but growing up gay wasn't - all the way to a career as a successful Broadway musical director and comedy writer in New York City. Peter Flynn directs.

Growing up on Long Island did not always make it easy to pursue his musical aspirations or come to grips with his homosexuality, both of which he recognized at an early age.
Now, he has not only confronted his demons and conquered them, he has put them onstage in the one man show Rhapsody in Seth. This is an autobiographical entertainment by a man[...]
