WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Commissioned by Second Stage Theatre, Privilege is the world premiere play from Paul Weitz, the Academy Award-nominated co-screenwriter of About a Boy and co-director of American Pie. His play Roulette was a critical and popular success last season. Peter Askin directs.
Today's headlines are filled with the financial scandals of powerful individuals. But what happens to the family? In Paul Weitz's heartfelt comedy, the privileged lives of two Upper East Side teens are irrevocably changed when their father (Bob Saget) is accused of insider trading. In Privilege, the two brothers look at the world with the hilarious observations of boys on the brink of adulthood.
