The play itself was quite disappointing considering I loved Shinns previous work. Unfortunately the play doesnt go anywhere. Its hard to care about any of the characters in the show. The acting is fine, the direction is questionable and the writing leaves you saying; "OK and I sat through this show why?" I gave the show the benefit of the doubt, staying after intermission, unlike almost a third of the audience, but it never developed.
Very missable, folks. Little of interest occurs. Acting is professional, sure. Characters are not terribly developed. Change w/main characters gf not credible. I enjoyed Act I okay, but very let down after intermission. Do not like the cutesy conceit of actors playing actors to begin with.
