WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Presented by Playwrights Horizons, People Be Heard is a comedy with songs by Quincy Long and directed by Erica Schmidt. When a town becomes embroiled in a brouhaha over the teaching of Evolution in the schools, a single mother who moonlights as a stripper is unwittingly drawn into the fray. An offbeat, distinctly American ode to the freedom of choice and the power to affect change.
