WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Three modern strangers board a jetliner for a long flight ... just as two Victorian sisters and their chaperone set out on The Grand Tour ... three medieval gypsies scramble to flee approaching plague ... and an ancient Greek family prepares for a momentous marriage. They're all in for a bumpy ride. Whether wryly comic or soaringly melodic, Richard Pearson Thomas's words and music propel these stories, shifting from century to century with increasing drive and urgency.
Parallel Lives is a Riverside Opera Ensemble production.
