The Foundry Theatre, known for crossing the boundaries of performance to engage artists and audiences in the complex concerns of our society, presents works in progress from its new series, NYC...Just Like I Pictured It. Six pairs of artists and social justice organizations have been commissioned to create new theatrical works that re-imagine the city we live in. In April, May and June the company will premiere five new works and Pins and Needles, a full scale musical adapted with and performed by members of FUREE (Families United for Racial and Economic Equality).
