WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The first play performed in post-World War II Germany, Nathan the Wise is the tale of a Jewish merchant in Muslim Jerusalem at the time of the Christian Crusades. It is the story of a world determinedly clinging to hope in a time of chaos. The holiday season offers us an opportunity to tell the stories that can change the world - and The Pearl is thrilled to reprise this tale of tolerance and understanding.
