WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Mr. Pim Passes By, by A.A. Milne, is a smart and sophisticated comedy about love, marriage and morality and the wondrous way that great events can spring from little causes. The play tells of the havoc wreaked on the seemingly happily married Mardens, when the sweet but befuddled Mr. Pim stops by one fine afternoon to ask a small favor. In passing, the Mardens discover that Olivia's first husband, "the ex-convict", is not dead as they believed him to be and their presumed marital bliss is, in fact, bigamy. Questions of morality and the true meaning of marriage are gently laced through this very fresh comedy.
Presented by the Mint Theater Company in rotating repertory with A.A. Milne's The Truth About Blayds.
