The Play Company presents the New York premiere of Leslie Ayvazian's Lovely Day, directed by Blair Brown in her New York directorial debut. This new play explores volatile political issues on the most intimate terms. As Fran and Martin are celebrating their wedding anniversary, they learn of a military recruiter's visit to their only son's high school. Suddenly, they find themselves on opposite sides of one of the most profound questions any mother or father can face.
