WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Love, Linda, the exciting, one-woman theatrical journey starring acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland, returns to the Triad Theater in a newly expanded production.

Love, Linda is about Linda Lee Thomas, the southern beauty who married, and was a driving force behind legendary songwriter Cole Porter. Though Cole Porter was gay, their companionship and love lasted through 35 years of marriage and a spectacular, glamour-filled life. The timeless music and lyrics of Cole Porter are presented with a jazz-inflected and swinging approach, and weave through the compelling narrative of Love, Linda, examining the darker sides of their life, while also celebrating the deep love that blossomed through the most unconventional of relationships. Arrangements by award winning composer Gary William Friedman, and original book is by Holland and Friedman.

"A real sense of triumph!...Stevie Holland has a graceful, silken voice that glides easily through some of Cole Porter's best-known songs, as well as a handful of comparative rarities." - Daniel M. Gold, THE NEW YORK TIMES

There is a 2 drink minimum in addition to admission.

HORRIBLE SHOW
This show was so bad I actually asked for my money back. The show takes place now above a Turkish restaurant. That should have been my first clue that this was NOT an off-broadway show. I walked up the stairs and entered a nursing home. Im not joking, there was a 93 year old man in a wheelchair next to me and he smelled like OLD MAN. He was being pushed by a younger woman who was probably 75 years old. I asked for my money back after the show and the manager said he couldnt do it. DDONT go here.

RE:Love Linda: The Life of Mrs. Cole
This has to be one of the worst shows I have ever seen in my life. The old woman couldnt remember the words to the songs. I think she was drunk. Plus, the drinks were extremely weak. I ordered 3 vodka sodas from the waiter, and every drink tasted like water. Dont waste your $$$$ on this. Mark
