WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Opening Act, an innovative nonprofit that provides free after-school theater programs to seven of New York City's most under-served public high schools, presents a one-night benefit play reading of Love Letters, by A.R. Gurney, starring Bernadette Peters. Michael Mastro directs.
Proceeds of the evening go directly to support Opening Act's free theater programs in Clara Barton, Cobble Hill, Franklin K. Lane, Graphic Communication Arts, Tilden, Samuel Gompers and Walton High Schools.
