WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Two men attempt to see if their casual sexual relationship has the potential for something more. Instead, the generation that separates them leads to a series of misunderstandings and assumptions. Their conversation turns from the darkly comic to the serious, ultimately leading to a tragic turn of events.
Loaded taps into the climate of 21st century gay culture as it seeks to make sense of the bewildering chasm that separates middle-aged and younger gay men.
This play contains nudity, graphic sexual situations, strong language and mature content. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted.

What's supposed to be a night of cuddling and sex between two gay men turns into an evening of debate in Elliot Ramón Potts' Loaded, playing at the Lion Theatre. There's plenty of promise in this potentially provocative two-hander, but unfortunately, contrived writing, fussy direction from Michael Unger, and a curious lack of chemistry between performers Kevin Spirtas and Scott Kerns combine to make the piece a truly wearisome theater experience.
