From East Coast to West Coast and all points in between comes Rennie Harris' Legends of Hip-Hop. Bessie Award-winning choreographer Rennie Harris has orchestrated a thrilling tribute to the artistic pioneers of this ever-growing phenomenon. Old school innovators Don Campbell, Electric Boogaloos and Rock Steady Crew join forces with modern-day mavericks to showcase the sounds, skills and stories of Hip-Hop's humble beginnings. Live DJs spin classic jams, beatboxers vocalize powerful percussion, and b-boys fill the stage with jaw-dropping head spins, while classic TV clips from "Soul Train" and "Carol Burnett Show" play. Together, the bold future of Hip-Hop is realized.
