A young prince and a lowly pauper boy live in the same kingdom, but are from different worlds. Brought together by chance on the streets of London, the prince conspires to exchange places with the poor kid, for a chance to be free.
Both boys encounter little of what they expected, the pauper falls into the clutches of the malevolent Lord Hertford (the prince's uncle) and the prince finds freedom chaotic, so he sets out to foil his uncle's evil plan to dominate the land.
In this merry tale of swamped identities, the boys learn that there are two sides to every situation, and the importance of being true to oneself. By the end of the tale, there are many reasons to celebrate.
