WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A new production of Carmen Rivera's musical play La Lupe about the life of the salsa icon features a new cast starring Doreen Montalvo in the title role. The play follows La Lupe from her humble beginnings as a radio contest winner in her native Cuba to her days as a Pentacostal preacher.
All performances except Tuesday nights are in Spanish.
