WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Celebrate a Knickerbocker Holiday with Maxwell Anderson and Kurt Weill's witty, yet caustic musical comedy about a man who "cannot take orders from anybody." This cult classic originally opened on Broadway in 1938 and is filled with romance, political humor, and some of Weill's best standards, including the popular "September Song."
