Renaissance red-head Isabel Rose presents a musical version of her novel, The J.A.P. Chronicles (available in bookstores as of May 17). Rose starred in and co-wrote the 2003 Samuel Goldwyn film Anything But Love and now adds the hats of lyricist and composer to her list of credits. Rose has been packing the house with her big-band nightclub act for the last year. J.A.P. Chronicles, the Musical is her first foray into musical theater.
Dave Kehr of The New York Times says, "Ms. Rose can indeed sing, and her renditions of the standards have appealing warmth and sincerity."
