Her Holy Water: A Black Girl's Rock Opera is an emotionally provocative rock opera that wildly traverses and transcends boundaries. Told through drum 'n' bass arias, transformational ballads and soulful electronica, interspersed with vignettes and backdropped with a visual montage; this unique concert experience work-in-progress -- featuring a full ambient band with a string quintet -- explores the journey from isolation into meditative stillness that leads to the exuberant triumph of uninhibited expression. Lyrical and often comedic, Her Holy Water: A Black Girl's Rock Opera is a celebration that confirms that even the minutia of a Black Girl's Life is epic.
