New Georges will present the world premiere of Juliann France's IMAGINING SHADOWS. Set in the late 1950's on a small farm on the outskirts of Memphis, Tennessee, the production is a touching portrait of the Wilkey family and the events which surround the death of the family matriarch. Strained family relationships come to a boil when the family patriarch remarries and the new bride decides to put a mentally handicapped Uncle into a nursing home. This lyrical, often surreal drama is told from the point of view of a spunky nine year old girl.
There will be a special benefit performance on Thurday February 24th at 7:00pm; tickets are $25
